1. The ultrafiltration filtration system should be regularly sterilized. The ultrafiltration membrane can trap bacteria, but it cannot kill them. Even the best ultrafiltration membrane with a high retention rate cannot guarantee that no bacteria will grow in the clean area for a long time. If there are bacteria, they may multiply in large numbers. Directly affecting the water quality, such as the appearance of semi transparent filamentous white flocculent mold clusters in some mineral water products, mainly caused by system contamination by mold. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly sterilize the surrounding environment and filtration system. The sterilization cycle depends on the quality of the supplied raw water. For urban ordinary tap water, it takes 7-10 days in summer, 30-40 days in winter, and 20-30 days in spring and autumn. When surface water is used as the supply water source, the sterilization cycle is shorter. Sterilized drugs can be circulated or soaked in 500-1000mg/L sodium hypochlorite solution or 1% hydrogen peroxide solution for about half an hour.
2. As protective solution is added to each ultrafiltration component before leaving the factory, the protective solution in the component must be thoroughly rinsed before use. First, rinse with low-pressure (0.1MPa) water for 1 hour, and then rinse with high-pressure (0.2MPa) water for 1 hour. Regardless of whether it is low-pressure or high-pressure flushing, the system's water discharge valves should be fully opened. When using the produced water, it should be checked and confirmed that the product water does not contain any fungicides.
3. The ultrafiltration components should be handled with care and protected. As ultrafiltration components are precision machines, caution should be taken when using and installing them. If the component is not used, it should be rinsed with clean water first, then disinfected and sterilized with 0.5% formaldehyde solution, and sealed properly. If the components need to be treated with antifreeze in winter, otherwise they may be scrapped.
